TREPALIUM: New Song Available For Free Download

January 22, 2009

French death metal band TREPALIUM will release its third album, "XIII", on February 9 via Season of Mist. The label says in a press release, "a member of the Klonosphere, a group of French metal bands featuring KLONE, HACRIDE, MISTAKEN ELEMENT and many other, TREPALIUM are not afraid to cross the boundaries and bring metal to a new dimension of diversity, technicality and energy — just like their friends from GOJIRA, with whom they are about to tour once again."

"XIII" will be released in February in France, Benelux and Switzerland only.

The track listing for the CD is as follows:

01. Daddy's Happy
02. Glowing Cloud
03. Blink of Time
04. Addicted to Oblivion
05. Inner Hell
06. Unexpectable Lies
07. And Now...
08. Usual Crap
09. Become
10. World Plague
11. Saddistic Peace
12. Fant-easy Reality

The song "Daddy's Happy" is available for free download at this location.

"'Daddy's Happy' is a heavy, powerful yet melodic track that announces pretty well the mood of the whole album," states guitarist Demiraslan Harun. "I think the chorus is quite a good reflection of the lyrics. It justifies the madness in which the main character of the story sinks throughout the following songs."

"On a lighter level, actually the starting point of the song was a joke", singer KK adds. "Ludo [bass player] likes to call me 'son of the sheitan' and I once told him that, if I'm actually Satan's son, then my father must be very happy when he looks at our world! That's how the song title came up".

TREPALIUM is:

Punda Cédric - Vocals
Demiraslan Harun - Guitar, Keyboards
Amossé Nicolas - Guitar
Chauveau Ludovic - Bass
Bouvier Sylvain - Drums
